Community Coffee UPC Labels

Each year, Community Coffee sponsors its Cash for Schools contest.  The contest runs from the start of school through January 31st. Schools earn money by collecting UPC labels from Community® brand products, including coffee and tea products. Schools allocate the money earned toward initiatives and projects such as new computers, textbooks, equipment, whiteboards, and other educational necessities. The program is open to local public and private schools from Pre-K through 12th grade.  To ignite participation, SAS holds a grade-level UPC collection contest beginning with the first day of school.  All Community Coffee UPCs should be submitted in an envelope or ziploc bag labeled with the student's grade that should receive credit.

Box Tops for Education Labels

We do not have a grade-level contest for these items, but we will strive to collect over 50,000 BoxTops labels this year.  Last year, SAS earned $3,379.30 through BoxTops for Education which offset costs for Youth Legislature participation, math tournament fees, and professional development conferences.
